Treats must be limited in a rabbit's diet. Too many treats can lead to many different kinds of sicknesses in rabbits.
Treats for rabbits are natural, whole foods. Rabbits should never eat commercial or prepared "human" foods or "junk" foods. There are some prepared rabbit treats on the market, but generally speaking they're high in fats and sugars, which are unhealthy for bunnies. Your rabbit won't like a treat out of a package any more than she'll like a bite of fresh apple, and the apple (fresh food) is much healthier for her.
Good treat choices include:
Many plants are toxic for rabbits. Never feed a plant (fruit, veg, wood, etc.) to a rabbit unless you're sure it's safe for rabbits, and when introducing a new food to your rabbit, always be careful: offer only tiny amounts at first, then wait a week to make sure your rabbit's okay with it -- bunnies can have food intolerances and Allergies, just like humans.
yes they both love the same treats
Sadly, rabbits can eat anything. (Can definition: are able to) Rabbits can eat anything at all. From rat poison to paper to camel crickets to dirt to other rabbits to cat treats. They are able to consume anything consumable.... just like you and me.
Yes! they can eat resins! Our rabbit loves them, he will beg for more. --- use them as treats if he likes them :).
Nothing. Cereal and crackers are actually good treats/rewards for your rabbit.
Rabbit PelletsThey can also occasionally have treats/vegetables/fruitsHay -- unlimited amountsHolland Lops eat the same food as all pet rabbits. See the related question below for more info and links about what rabbits eat.
Rabbits will eat any number of things (I knew a little boy who fed watermelon to his rabbit) but I wouldn't recommmend it. A rabbit should be fed a balanced diet of rabbit pellets. Many 'treats' can be given but should be limited. The best treats are sunflower seeds, carrots and orange wedges all in moderation.
No, rabbits don't eat acorns or any nuts/seeds. Rabbits do sometimes eat carrots and lettuce as treats (in limitation!). See the related question below for more info and links about the rabbit diet.
Bunnies LOVE carrots. They eat rabbit food which you can just get at Walmart. They also eat lettuce, corn, cabbage, timothy hay, and alfalfa hay. They also enjoy lettuce and any type of greens
NO! dont feed them any sugary human treats! it contains heaps of sugar and could be fatal! hope this helps From Tenny54
Yes, rabbits can eat mangoes, but in moderation. Only give it one every once in a while as a treat and only a little at one time because too much can cause intestinal problems. Rabbits love sweet things and have a "sweet tooth" but too much treats can cause problems!!
yes!foxes do eat rabbits
House rabbits enjoy rabbit food pellets and Timothy Hay treats in the house. Most rabbits can't have carrots! I would not suggest you buy your rabbit from a pet store, they are healthier if you get them from a breeder.
