people can help by taking care of the animals. I used to volunteer there and I scooped catlitter, played with dogs and cats, cleaned windows, and fed animals. As you get farther into it you get better responsibilities like taking dogs on walks and going to the pound area. I worked at a fairly large center so I don't kow about yours.
You can donate to your local animal shelter or an organization like the ASPCA.
First, you should visit the ASPCA, Humane Society, or any other animal shelter sites. You could go to an animal shelter and volunteer and/or adopt an animal.
Many counties each have their own animal shelter, also known as 'the pound'. If you are unsure about your county having one, you can always contact the ASPCA; they are always willing to help you locate a shelter near you.
call your local animal shelter, ASPCA, etc. they can refer you to someone who can help if they are unable to. had a similar problem myself & they were very helpful.

I support the ASPCA in its steadfast commitment to end animal cruelty.

People help homeless cats by donating or working or volunteering at an animal shelter. They can help their own cats by giving them food, water, and love.
The answer varies on your local ASPCA. I can tell you this though, ASPCA's and local animal shelters are always looking for volunteers. Before you volunteer, go to your doctor or allergist to make sure you aren't allergic to any animal you may encounter while volunteering. If you are allergic to something, donate to their fund and try volunteering somewhere else.
Well theres ASPCA to help fight against Animal Cruelty..
