You must first find out why you do not have spark. Then you can fix the issue.
A 1996 Toyota Camry that will have spark and then sometimes no spark might be having a problem with the spark plugs. Each individual spark plug is now a solid state electrode in that year of Toyota Camry. The ignition coil pack on top of the spark plug is probably loose or cracked.
having bad spark plugs could effect how the spark sparks and when it sparks. new plugs is never a bad idea
If you do not have a key the coil is not going to spark.
You may not have any spark, you need to check for spark with a spark tester..If you do not have spark it could be caused by your spark control modulel, bad coil ect.find out why you have no spark...Have you been having problems before with the truck turning off or stalling, prior to this? If so then i would suspect the spark control module.
can you tell me were is the sparkplug #1 for a1969 mustan 351 i having problems with that
Typically spark plugs just wear out over time. However, over heating the engine or having oil on the spark plugs can cause early blowout. New spark plugs can be bought at any automotive parts store and installed by your mechanic.
On a 1989 Acura Legend, the spark plugs are located on the top of the engine, underneath the ignition coils. You will find them along the valve covers, with each cylinder having its own spark plug. Accessing them typically requires removing the engine cover and the ignition coils to reach the spark plugs directly.
You have to remove the Coil on Plug modules from the intake, and then use a long extention to reach to spark plugs deep in the intake manifold. Instead of having spark plug wires going to the tops of each spark plug, the system has a separate ingnition coil attached to each spark plug instead. Just a little more involved than older cars.
If you suspect that there is no ignition spark, have the ICM tested, it's a little device that's inside the distributor and causes the coil to send a spark to the plugs. However!!! Don't replace parts without having them tested first!
I`M HAVING A HARD TIME REMOVING SPARK PLUG WIRES ON MY 2002 CHEVY SILVERADO 2500 6.0. ANY TIPS?
Have you tried having the wheels balanced ?
Easy fix, remove the spark plugs dry everything off. Then go to autozone and get a new valve cover gasket and replace it. This will solve the problem. By the way replace the 4 spark plugs at this time save you having to do it at some other time.
