Insomnia is probably one of the most common sleeping disorders in America, some more severe than others. The best thing scientists say to help treat with "temporary insomina" is to simply NOT FIGHT IT OFF!, get up and do something that you think is valuable of your time instead of trying to force yourself to sleep because it is said it causes more stress and makes you feel more awakened than sleepy. Some good "home remidies" include, eating foods high in saturated fats like cookies because they contain hormones that make you fall asleep believe it or not, but most intresteingly they say whatever you do...DONT DRINK SLEEPING PILLS!! 99.9% of the time THEY DO NOT WORK! BUT! eating a baked potato will! (it literally is the world's LARGEST SLEEPING PILL!) :)
