tell them to stick it Bully Tactics! Bully tactics is a strong word to use when you talk about an ex-husband's mother and sister. What are they bullying you about? Telling you how to live your life the way they think you should live it! And they are doing this after 14 years when you are no longer married to your mother-in-law's son or you sister-in-law's brother? Why are you still talking to them? Yes, of course, I know. For the sake of your children! And I am making this assumption because this is the only guess that makes sense. But of course you apparently do not realize how children chafe when they are being exposed to the inferference of x-family members just because their mother hasn't go the guts to tell them that they might have to grow up without the benefit of a grandmother or aunt.
