I am very sorry you are in this situation, is there anywhere you can go? Grandparents, aunts, uncles or friends? As you are still a minor, you need to go and speak to someone in authority about this, you may be put into a hostel for a while, until you leave school. Speak to a teacher, or an adult friend, tell them what has happened, even speak to your doctor!! I hope things work out for you.

Can an 18 year old move out in Indiana if they are still in high school?

Yes. The legal age of majority is 18 in the US. BUT, if you want your parents to pay for your graduation and possibly college, stay there until graduation.

At 18 can you legal sign out of school in the USA?

No, you must still have parents permission, at least in my old school. I guess it just depends on your schools policy.

Can an 18-year-old move out of their parents' home if they are still in high school in California?

They are legally allowed to move out, as they are adult "technically", but as far as the school is concerned the parents would still be legal guardians and need to sign any and all excuses.

Is it legal for parents to keep a 17 year old out of school against their will?

This is a tricky one... I believe that parents are allowed to do so; I believe that by law, kids are only forced to attend school until their 16th birthday. Parents still have legal rights over them until they turn 18; therefore, if a parent pulls a 17 year old out of school, I think's it's legal. Don't quote me on this!

Do your parents still have custody over you if you are a legal adult in the UK?

No but they are still there for you

Can an 18 yr old in Ohio move out of their parents house with a GED or do you have to graduate high to be able to move out?

As soon as you are 18 you can move out whether you are still in high school, have a GED, or have graduated. Once you are 18 you are a legal adult and you can do whatever you want, living arrangement-wise. Your parents can also kick you out when you are 18 because they no longer have to do anything for you, insurance, car, money, anything.

If your an 18 year old girl and you want to move in with your boyfriend and his parents your both still in school can your grandparents have his parents arrested for letting you move in?

Do you have to stay in the house if you are in high school?

In general, children under 18 or who are still in high school are not quite "people", legally speaking. They are under the care of their parents or legal guardians, who are required to provide for them and in return get to "be the boss of" them. So, if you're still in high school and your parents say you have to remain in the house, then you pretty much have to remain in the house.

Can a child at age of 18 still move out if they are still in high school?

Yes< if you are 18 years of age you are then considered an adult. Therfore you are free to do anything you want wiht out your parents permission. You can still attend high school at the age of 18. You can attend high school as long as you want until you graduate. Now Worries!!
