Your first step would be to contact the credit card company. Find out if your contract has any allowances for discovery after 60 days. Second, contact the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). You can access their website online. It contains a lot of helpful information regarding fraud, identity theft and other consumer issues. Third, contact and (possibly) notate your credit bureau files. You need to be savvy and educate yourself to avoid liability and reduce the ramifications of this fraud. The regular procedures for disputing a charge should be followed anyway. MAny companies will waive the time limit, in order to satisfy a good customer.
