that depends..... how deep are your pockets? 150,000 will get you a 4 sec car. for most and to keep it a dependable daily driver. keep it simple if your lookin for power keep it that way ground affects.. lights.. stickers.. most huge silly spoilers . massive stereo are useless.. when seconds count... on a budget start with cold air intake.. plug and wire upgrade maybe ignition? look for chips or computer control units rember to change the thermostate when you chip it. stay away from NOS unless you want to burn up your rings and engine. yes in small amounts it can be tamed but it best not. next look into exaust cat back to start and chip the tranny as well max shift points. that's all the easy stuff.. you could now add larger fuel injectors and pump. mess with the heads.. or even add a turbo.. intercooler..? shocks and suspension seem to help depending on what is done mild lowering to improve center of gravity. wider tires stiffer shock and coils. all help weight transfer.
don't negect all the little stuff like maintnence.. like a good timing chain or belt... good tires ...balanced... we don't need a blow out at 100 now do we. cv joints both don't click around corners...
