There's no better cure than time.

But one great thing is to do something that takes you out of yourself--something that absorbs you outside of yourself. Not another romance. Something like giving your time and strength to someone who needs it (a family member, an older person, a hospital, an animal shelter) or to a project (home improvement, art work, a class, a volunteer job).

Find something that's bigger than you are and that stands for something worthwhile. You don't have to care about it yet. You will later. It just has to be worth caring about. You will do the rest. First you invest yourself. Then you care.
