hmmm you can't really I think. Making him seem like someone he isn't, that's not going to work at all. Make sure he's polite to her at all times but other than that you can't do anything. Sometimes people just don't really care for each other. It sucks I know, but all you can do is tell your mom that you really love this guy. But you should also talk to your mom about this, ask her why she doesn't like him. You're in love, but she might see something that could potentially be very bad for you. She might just want to protect you from him. If you're sure he's a good guy, try to get them together so they can get to know each other better. She might end up liking him a little more. If she doesn't know him at all, she might see him as a threat, someone who's trying to 'steal' her daughter. Just get them together, If they really don't like eacht other, there's nothing you can do about it. Just ask them to at least be polite to eacht other so this won't turn into a war, but at some point you're just going to have to accept that they don't like each other. It sucks, but you're going to have to learn to live with it then, or it might hurt the relationship with him or your mother.
