Some people are more prone to this than others. I'd say try going and get it waxed if you can afford to (have a professional do it, take no chance with those HOME KITS). Also, you can; as was said before, get a new razor blade or try one that has the aloe or lotion protection shield and more than 1 blade to stop the going over and over the same area causing irritation. If that doesn't help, just try and remember to shave a couple of days before any real important event, that way your poor skin has time to heal itself. Also, check that you are shaving in the correct manner, {like, with the grain of the growth as opposed to against} sometimes this is the cause, you are shaving wrong and adding to the discomfort your sensitive skin already is feeling. And use Shea cocoa butter in any form of lotion, Palmer's is the best I think. Also, you can try icing down the area after shaving, being careful to not burn your skin with the ice!!! I hope one of these suggestions help you...GOOD LUCK!

Why do you get painful red bumps from shaving your buttocks?

I assume the PRBs are on your buttocks and not some other part of your body, which would be a curious reaction. The bumps can be a form of folliculitis, an acne-like condition caused by irritation and inflammation of the hair follicles. Shaving with a dull razor can pull many hairs out instead of cutting them, which can cause the condition. In some cases, the bumps might be ingrown hairs, but that's unlikely, especially if your PRBs occur soon after shaving. When shaving your hairy butt, lubricate your cheeks well and use a new razor.

You shaved a while back and now you have bumps on your vagina and they itch what can it be?

You got red bumps form shaving ym pubic hair?

It's called razor burn. It should go away in a few days, but I suggest that you refrain from shaving until it goes away. Next time, be gentler while shaving, and make sure to use shaving cream.
