You can expect to have a body that the mind cannot control.All the symptoms are well documented. It varies with each patient.I was diagnosed like this you have Parkinson's there's no cure it gets worse.This was my welcome to Parkinson's.Oh you can get drugs to combat parkinson's but they do not last long and you have to keep taking more and more. I have had it for five years.I will desrcribe it as ageing twenty years in the time it takes for the drugs to wear off and re taking till it goes away again.Your thinking mind is just as clear and does not age well mine hasn't anyway.I have had a unexpected bonus from having parkinson's my mind has taken to wrting poetry and I get emmence pleasure from it I stay up all night sometimes and write and review other poets. You have a choice you can say stuff Parkies and carry on fighting it every day or you can give up give in and end it all. Choose the first alternative please don't give in join an organisation meet others with it and carry on enjoying life I do.
