It's best to call in a professional as bedbugs are very good at hiding and can go for long periods of time without eating.
Things to do at home yourself:
There are a number of products and kits you can purchase to treat the problem. Some involve chemical pesticides, others depend upon organic means of control, such as insecticidal dusts that tear away the bug's protective coating, causing it to die. These products can be found on the Web.
Buy fresh step crystals cat litter and a small blender. Grind the litter into a very fine dust, and then spray it around lightly (with a sports bottle, that's what I used) making sure not to do it too heavy. You can spray it everywhere: furniture, bed, wall outlets, carpet, everywhere. It will dry them out and grind in the joints. It takes a few hours to kill them and wont kill the eggs, but it will help control the situation. Make sure to spray it around the bed, they may still get to you to bite you but it will kill them after, lowering the numbers. You should hire a professional though. They will kill the infestation including eggs, for the most part. It may take a few calls for them to eradicate them all.
Isopropyl alcohol, needs reporting to the authorities though.
If you have dryer sheets that you use for your clothes put some in your mattress and blankets and put new ones every 3 weeks.
