I have never heard of a bichon frise with sore ears but the ears do get hot and they get itchy. i give my bichon frise a special spray for the ears

Well, Bichon Frise's are very clean. For one, they DON'T SHED!! That's very nice. No fur all over the floor or furniture. And if you pick them up you don't have fur all over your shirt. Also, they are hypoallergenic which means those allergic to dogs are not allergic to Bichon Frise's. They are adorable dogs. I suggest if you get a Bichon Frise to give it the "puppy cut" whenever it gets groomed. It's the cutest style and it won't get matted or tangled. Also, if your Bichon Frise gets tear stains (which are black stains underneath the eyes or around the mouth) use the product called Angel Eyes. It gets rid of them quickly and is amazing. YES YES YES! Bichon's are awesome and really cute!AND....they don't shed!!! So no fur to clean up and no fur gets on your clothes when you hold them! Plus, they are hypoallergenic which means people who are allergic to dogs are not allergic to Bichons.If you end up getting a Bichon Frise, I highly suggest you give your Bichon the "puppy cut" when groomed. That what my Bichon has. It is the cutest hairstyle (in my opinion). I think it's much better than the other style with lots of fur. It's cuter, easier for the dog to see, doesn't get tangled or matted as much, etc. But however you cut your Bichon's hair is up to you. I just suggest the "puppy cut".Bichon's are great dogs. I love my Bichon Frise. She is amazing. The best dog in the world. well if you check bichon rescue online and scroll down, click on available for adoption it will show you all dogs they have for adoption. just go to www.bichonrescue.com. also if you go to the pound you can get one there for free and you are saving a dog. Hope this helps!!! i heard that during the holidays around xmas time the shelters with dogs that need to be adopted are cheap. you should check the shelter to adopt a Bichon. Also, I got mine from a breeder for $300. Good luck Bichon Frises are extremely good pets, but you are wrong if you think that the only cost is buying the dog. I have my own Bichon Frise and she ate a washing machine tablet! We had to pay £4,000 for the vet bills. Also, Bichons are very fussy about their food. My Annie only likes this £13.00 food. But I know a place in Pangbourne where they give away Bichon Frise puppies for free so if you live in that area you might want to check it out. I got Annie for £350 which I think is better buying your puppies from breeder rather than getting it for free. ==

NEVER! They are very allergic. never!!! do not feed any dog meat or that stuff. feed them the right dog food your vet prefers. a piece of bacon every ONCE in a while will not hurt them.
