not much. For a telescope to be useful at 525x power it would have to be 250mm and you would need very good atmospheric conditions (a rarity). A 70mm telescope can be used at about 100x provide it is a high quality one.
You can see the planets without any telescope at all. Most amateur telescopes are around 200 - 300x magnification, with these you can see a fair amount of detail. So a 525x telescope would see even more.
why do they have a humble space telescope
The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) is a space telescope that was carried into orbit in April 1990.
Solar energy, all space equipment uses solar panels

you lanch a space shuttle with the telescope in then i releses it that is the most basic way.
The Hubble Space Telescope is a reflector, so its objective is not a big-moose lens at the front;it's a big mirror in the back. The diameter of the objective mirror is 2.4 meters(7.87 feet), (94.5 inches).
The diameter is 2.4m (7ft 2in) and the length of it is 13.2m (43.5 ft).
The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is the planned successor of the HST and the Spitzer Space Telescope (for observations in infrared). It will have a diameter of 6.5 m (the HST has 2.4 m). As of now, the launch will be in 2017 or 2018.

The Hubble Space Telescope is the biggest telescope in space at this time.
It uses solar panels.
The diameter of the biggest lens or mirror that gathers light arriving from space. The diameter can be in mm, inches or metres.
why do they have a humble space telescope
It is the Hubble Space Telescope.
The Hubble Space Telescope is the common name of the satellite with which we are familiar. The satellite contains a large optical telescope which does the observations of space objects. The telescope is a fairly straightforward Ritchey-Chrétien Cassegrain reflector with a primary mirror 2.4 meters (94 inches) in diameter. The telescope images objects with a variety of cameras and spectrographs. See the links for more.
