When I got my puppy the breeder gave puppy training pads to us. But I went to this puppy store, Pets Plus, and they had them there! You are supposed to put them near the door, like the back door, so they know they can go potty there. Also you can put them where they go potty to show that THAT is where they go potty.

Going outside you need to teach them to let you know when the go to go. My opinion you might want to teach the puppy both so when its to cold to go outside it can use the pee pad.

If your puppy/dog starts to go on the floor quickly put them on the paper/training pads after a few days if they start going on the paper put them outside after they have been and say: Good boy/Good girl. Eventually you can remove the paper completely and if you see them sniffing put them outside again and say: Good boy/good girl.
