First answer: You can't dye a rabbit at all. A rabbit is very sensitive. If the rabbit licks the Kool Aid (which it will) it can die!

More information:

Poisoning: Rabbits groom themselves, so anything you put on the rabbit will end up inside the rabbit. Rabbits have very sensitive digestive systems and they often get sick from eating bad things. Kool Aid probably won't kill your rabbit, but it could make your rabbit sick (all that sugar!). Anything stronger than Kool Aid, like real hair dye, really would poison and kill your rabbit. Plain food dye is probably the safest option, but still it is not a good thing to do, and no responsible vet or animal professional would recommend it.

Chemical Burns: The chemicals in the dye will burn your rabbit's skin. Rabbits have very sensitive skin. Even some baby shampoos can burn a rabbit's skin! Not only is burned skin painful and stressful for the rabbit, but it can also get infected.

Hypothermia: Wet fur takes a long time to dry, and unless the weather is hot, the rabbit can get hypothermia.

Stress and Shock: Rabbits go into shock pretty easily, and shock is deadly. Rabbits are also sensitive to stress, and long-term stress leads to a low quality of life, behavioural problems, poor health, etc. Dyeing your rabbit's fur would be very stressful for her: the prolonged handling, weird smells and sensations, getting wet, etc. As the pet owner, it's your job to minimise stress in your rabbit's life; by dyeing your rabbit, you are doing the exact opposite!

It's true that some people dye their pets, including rabbits. It's becoming a bit of a trend. Well, just because some people do it, doesn't mean it's right, safe, or healthy. Also, different animals respond to different situations differently, so what's fine for someone else's pet may kill your rabbit. Also, these people always make sure to use non-toxic, gentle dyes, not hair dye made for humans!

When it comes to you and your pet, please don't think of what's trendy, or what would look cute: think of what's in your pet's best interest. If you want a cute accessory, go out and buy a purse. Your pet is a living thing and deserves your respect.

Don't! It can cause really bad skin problems including itchiness, irritation and flaky/dry skin. You may need to seek veterinary attention after dying your dog's fur to get special creams to treat the skin issue.

Why do you want to dye your dog??

The only answer I can come up with is that you want it to look different - this is cruel. The dog doesn't care what colour it's coat is - it is not a toy you can 'design' the way you want. If you want to 'design' a toy then buy a doll; a non-living, non-breathing doll!

Please don't ever dye your dog's fur.

Please never ever dye your dog's hair. It can have really bad effects on their skin by causing rashes because of an allergic reaction. You may need to seek veterinary attention for your dog after dying him/her to get special cream to treat the skin issue.

It is totally pointless, dog's have evolved from wolves - do you really think it cares what he/she looks like (questionable whether they can see colour at all in fact).

The only reason I can see you dying your dog's hair is because you want it to look different - that is cruel. You should take your dog how it looks and not interfere with it's coat colour.

They're a couple of ways to color your dog pink. The best way is to use manic panic hair dye and read the directions. Note it's better to do on a dry dog, as a wet dog tends to shake and the color gets on everything. You can also use certain kool aid but it doesn't work as well.

Is it illegal to dye a poodle pink?

No. I was watching a show on pets and some of the hair cuts/colors that are done to them. There were many colors put on pets. My only suggestion is to make sure you use a dye that is safe for use with pets. I wouldn't go out and get a dye for coloring fabric pink.
