For hair use peanut butter or ice.
The natural oils in peanut butter can be used to remove chewing gum from clothing or hair.
Pine sol . . . use pine sol to get the gum out then shampoo the Christmas tree smell out.
Simple. Gum+hair=sticky mess. You press gum into hair and presto, your an idiot.
Use peanut butter to rub it out.
Try hair conditioner and comb it out. Use a lot of patience and be gentle.
As far as I have seen, people tend to get gum stuck in their hair if they fall asleep with gum in their mouths. Then, while they're sleeping, the gum falls out of their mouths and they roll over onto the gum. As they sleep, the gum tangles in the hair and becomes thoroughly stuck.
The easiest solution is to simply cut off the hair to which the gum has become stuck, starting a few centimeters above the gum. the BETTER solution is to use peanut butter and to work work work until its out. dont listen to the person above!!! __________ I've heard that using ice on the hair will help loosen the gum for easier removal.
the Sioux used buffalo skin to make clothing, which was sewn together by their hair.
Try putting it in the freezer until the gum has gone rock solid then try to gently peel the clothing away. The gum has to be rock solid though.
You can use 90% alcohol
You can use it everywhere. When I travel I use it to hand wash clothing.
The best way is two fold. First freeze the glob of gum with an ice cube. This will enable you to pick most of it off the clothing. Second use a mineral oil solvent on the remainder. I use a product called "goo gone", but simple mineral oil will do fine. Finally, clean the oil residue with a simple household degreaser like Shout or Resolve. Wash normally.
