Simple. Gum+hair=sticky mess. You press gum into hair and presto, your an idiot.
As far as I have seen, people tend to get gum stuck in their hair if they fall asleep with gum in their mouths. Then, while they're sleeping, the gum falls out of their mouths and they roll over onto the gum. As they sleep, the gum tangles in the hair and becomes thoroughly stuck.
Freezing gum helps remove it from hair by hardening the gum, making it less sticky and easier to break apart. When the gum is frozen, it becomes brittle, allowing you to carefully break it off without pulling on the hair. This method minimizes damage to the hair compared to other removal techniques. After freezing, you can gently comb or pull the hardened gum away from the hair.

If you have gum in your hair, you can get it out with peanut butter. The peanut butter is oily, but solid enough to easily place on the gum. The peanut butter will unstick the gum, and then it will be easy to wash away with a strong shampoo.
Rub peanut butter into it to loosen the gum.
Alcohol dissolves gum.
