Nissan micra comes to mind. Seriously, depends if you allow your dog on the seats or want them in the rear. In the seat, just about any car, in the rear, station wagon/estate of nearly any make. Remember, the dog wont be standing on the way....
The lion would win, they can be more twice the weight of an Irish Wolfhound and their teeth and claws are much more dangerous.
Finding a non-lifesize IW would be a more interesting task ;-) Seriously? Contact your local breed club to get referrals. Provided you live in the US, you will find a list of regional Irish Wolfhound Clubs at http://www.iwclubofamerica.org/clubs.htm . If you are in Europe, a list of national IW clubs is at http://www.irish-wolfhound-club.ch/Links.html
An Irish wolfhound is from IRELAND and a Russian Wolfhound is from RUSSIA! and also a Irish wolf hound would kill the wolfs of old and some of present and the Russian usually held them at bay
an Irish wolfhound would be no match for a German Shepard it wouldn't have the speed ,toughnes or heart these dogs are not violent Clearly this person doest;t know much about IW. IWH wouldn't have the speed? - They were breed for coursing deer, wolves, and horses back in in the dark ages for dragging men and knights of horse. Toughness - They were not only breed for battle, but for killing WOLVES... SOLO not in a pack Heart - IWH are some of the most Loyal, courage's dog that have ever lived. Fact. Kings and queens would have packs of them as they would guard them with their lives. People still use IWH's to hunt Coyotes which they do very well, on there own, and also boars. Fact - You take a working IWH used for (coursing, hunting) keeping in mind the average male height is not 36" and weighting in at 140 - 160lb put it up against a working GS the GS will lose, and quickly... I would say he would run away with its tail between its legs, but when you have a 140lb + sighthound chasing you down, with the lung capacity which near matches a wolve, you ain't gonna get very far. They are people dogs...and I love ALL of mine, but never underestimate the power of this giant...EVER Irish Wolfhounds are probably the strongest, bravest and loyallist of all dogs. They would beat a German shepherd for sport.I'm Irish so I know :)
Ive done a lot of searching on this question, some of the forums i find give completely horrible answers like hes a toy breed, but in the Shippuden series Akamaru gets really big, big enough for Kiba to ride on his back, the closest I've come to finding a breed like Akamaru's would be a Great Pyrenees. this is from kira-chan i would probaly say in the first naruto he looks kinda like a shiba inu. but ths may just be me. ----------------------------------------- From the stand point of a veterinarian, the only dog that would come close to the sheer size of Akamaru (height and lengthwise) would have to be the Irish Wolfhound. But since I don't believe neither the manga nor the anime mention it, it's hard to say for sure. It could be that he is a mix of both the Great Pyrenees and the Irish Wolfhound. This would account for both his muscular physique & coat (Pyrenees bloodline) and his size (Irish Wolfhound).
In Ireland inns are more commonly called pubs. The owner would be known as a publican.
usalluy a brick or stone house thats suitable for the 4 seasons and rapid change of weather. and a suitable one for a family would be a recommended size by the owner/renter.
Give it a pencil .If it starts drawing it is a labra DOODLE. If it writes out a shopping list for Guiness its an Irish wolfhound .

In Ireland we would commonly call him a small farmer. I know this seems a simple answer but it is a widely phrase. The word crofter I have seen being used by people from outside Ireland but never by an Irish person.
'Irish son' would be 'mac Éireannach' in Irish.
