I have a four wheeler Honda TRX350D Foreman 4x4.

Would turn over but not start.

Checked oil and it had gas in it. Drained and put in new oil.

Checked fuses and tinkered with fuel pump.

It now starts and runs but I don't want to use it until I resolve

'oil in gas' problem.

Would fuel pump going bad cause the gas/oil problem?

Would there be a more reasonable reason for this?

However, in some cases, waste lubricating oil can be processed and used as a fuel alternative, particularly in industrial applications or for energy recovery. This practice requires proper treatment to remove contaminants and ensure safe combustion. Overall, while lubricating oil can be repurposed as fuel, it is not its intended use.

When you press the gas pedal the engine dies?

No! That could never happen. Okay now for an answer. Your car sounds as if it is starving for fuel so I would start at the fuel filter. How long since it was changed? Have you had the injectors cleaned? In some cases it could be timing but I'd start with getting the fuel system checked out. By the way, Check your oil first. If you are low on oil the oil pressure switch may be turning the fuel pump off.
