The apparent redshift is caused by the Doppler Effect; the frequency of waves is increased by an approaching source and decreased by a leaving source. Since the fgrequencies we see from stars are slightly lower than they should be, we know that the stars and other objects are moving away. The Doppler Effect causes changes of light emanating from distant stars and galaxies.
The spectral lines from distant galaxies do not match those on Earth because of the Doppler effect, cosmic expansion, and differences in elements present in the galaxies. These factors cause the observed spectral lines to be shifted or altered compared to what we see on Earth.
There is every indication that it will cause drastic changes in the coming years.
Density waves (they cause the spiral arms in disc galaxies).
The Big Bang theory predicts an expanding universe. The red shift, being the Doppler effect of light when something is receding from you, confirms this because when looking at galaxies the light emitted from them is red shifted. The farther away galaxies have a higher red shift, confirming that all galaxies are moving away from each other, not just the Milky Way (i.e. the universe is expanding).
Whenever Earth-based telescopes try to take images of distant objects, the image is always blurry due to atmospheric turbulence. Also, if the telescope is situated near a city, the street lights cause light pollution and dim the light coming from stars and galaxies. The Hubble Space telescope is situated above the atmosphere, so the images are crisp and sharp. Also city lights don't affect it. It can also take more images as it is not affected by day and night.
Galaxies do combine or merge together. In about 4.5 -> 5.5 billion years time time, the Andromeda Galaxy will combine with our galaxy, the Milky Way Galaxy. In a lot of cases Irregular Galaxies are believed to have formed with interactions with other galaxies. See related link for a picture of two galaxies merging.
An amino acid change distant from the active site can impact the enzyme's conformation and flexibility, leading to changes in the active site shape and size. This can alter how substrates bind to the active site, affecting substrate specificity. Additionally, changes in distant amino acids can cause conformational changes that transmit through the protein, ultimately affecting enzyme-substrate interactions.

The force that draws two galaxies towards each other is gravity. The gravitational force between the two galaxies pulls them towards each other and can cause them to collide or interact.
The change in humidity in the air before a rainstorm can sometimes cause a change to the smell of the air but not for all rain showers and not everyone will notice these changes.
Yes ...why.. well there is a theory that once the universe was as small as a match's red head? i don't know what it's called what ever...so when that bead explodes and it expands. and scientists believe that it keeps expanding. Another question you should ask your self is if that the universe was that small what was around it? answer it cause i wanna know and hope this helps!
Yes, galaxies can orbit each other in space. This phenomenon is known as galactic interaction or galactic cannibalism, where the gravitational forces between two or more galaxies cause them to orbit around a common center of mass.
