P0300 means random misfire detected which probably has to do with the spark plugs or the plug wires
Trouble code P0300 means: Random/multiple cylinder misfire detected
If check engine light is on, have a parts store read the code. It will tell you there is a random misfire and usually what cylinder is misfiring. Replace the coil pack for that cylinder and all will be well.

There are a number of reasons why a 2001 Toyota Corolla 1.4 GS engine would misfire. Coils are one common cause. Another common cause is the fuel delivery system.
The fuel pressure regulator is on a 2001 Bravada is located in the rear on the gas tank. It is in the fuel line between the fuel pump and the gas tank.
Faulty: spark plug, spark plug wire, ignition coil, ignition module, fuel injector are the most common. Coolant leaking into a cylinder is another. Internal engine problems such as burnt valve, broken valve spring, bent push rod, worn rings. Also check gaskets (intake) for vacuum leaks. This also may cause a random misfire to read.
