Honda GL1200 will smoke when restarted(sometimes very large cloud) after being parked on sidestand. The reason is that the flat 4 motor has 2 cylinders angled downward when bike is not upright. Old BMW riders have a similar characteristic and usually park the bike on the centerstand to reduce this concern.size of smoke cloud varies between bikes depending oil vicosity, level and wear, where the ring ends line up on the piston also factors in. smoke cloud does not indicate a problem with the motor, bikes with very good commpression will smoke also Park the bike on the centerstand if the smoke will cause embarrassment!
Defective blower motor?
on my banshee it is on the lower shifter side frame tube near the shifter or behind. probably covered in paint.just in front of the LH footpeg on the frame
To answer your question a banshee is a 2 stroke that takes premix and has a wicked powerband. A raptor is a 4 stroke and sounds like a lawn mower without a muffler. Also a banshee has a huge flat radiator in the front with 2 big round headlights one on each side. The exhaust has 2 expansion chambers one on each side.
I have a 2004 and it was the the motor shifting side to side, cause what was holding the motor was broke so the motor was just kinda hanging there hope this helps..
There could possibly be somthing stuck in your carb on one side or the plug on that side could be mis fireing or your jets could be off on that side
passenger side, on the back side of the motor between motor and the firewall. Top side of motor
A broken hose, most likely.
Oil leak? Valve cover gasket? Power steering pump?
If it comes from the side of the motor and not from another source such a a leaing hose, then it is almost deffinatly a leaking head gasket. not a cheap or easy fix.
