Russia pulled out of World War 1 because of this reason:
NOT SURE!
Actually, Russia pulled out because of an internal revolution. It was right after Czar Nicholas II was overthrown.
...
...
the Bolshevik Revolution prompted Russia to pull out of the war...so basically there was a civil war within Russia, so they had to concentrate on that rather than the world war
Farz xx
The Communists who recently took over Russia didn't want to have to worry about a war while they change the country so they signed the Treaty of Brest Litovsky and it let Russia drop ou of the war.
World War I was extremely costly for Russia, and support was waning among the Russian people. When Russia withdrew from the conflict, it lost nearly all of the territory it had seized since the 1700s.
Because they had their own Revolution. When people got tired of Czar Nicholas II wild spending of tax money for himself, people got angry. When the Czar left for a trip, all was left was his family. This led to attemtped overthrow of the Royal Family. It did NOT succeed. Later, the assasination of the Royal Family was attempted and carried out successfully. This led to another attempted overthrow by Communists, and this sparked a Revolution. This also led to a dropout of WWI and a treaty was signed with Germany. This was bad for the Allies because Germany no longer had 2 sides to fight against, just 1 which allowed them to put more troops on the Western Front. The communists won and was known as the USSR or Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Before that is was just called Russia. It is mostly referred to today as Russia but the correct and official name is the Russian Federation. They seem to change their name a lot.
They didnt pull out of WWII you are thinking of WWI and because the czar was overthrown and the new communist government didn't want the war. or if you are thinking why they didn't fight Japan well i dont know
Russia backed out of the war before it ended because they were having their Revolution at that time. They had their own country to attend to, which was more important to them than fighting in the war.
In November 1917, a revolution broke out in Russia and Russia became a communist country, Lenin sighed a armistice with Germany and withdrew from the First World War.
Russia withdrew from World War I to deal with problems at home. The Communists took over and got rid of the monarchy.
