I want you to imagine for a minute you are sitting in your backyard and an alien ship lands. They tell you that you no longer have a right to the land and you have to move. With them they bring plants and animals that are not native to the environment, build fences, and cut down the forests on the lands you have taken care of for centuries. Your ancestors are buried on these lands and yet these invaders just take the land as theirs. This is what happened when the the English colonies began. Not only did they take the land, but they discriminated, and killed the native Americans as much as they could. The end result was the movement of the people off their lands and put on reservations.
