Hi, I'll bet on one of three things water pump, thermostat, or blocked radiator and the first is the thermostat then the water pump. Those are wher I'd go first. Good luck and please post the answer. Steve H.
*Thermostat on these vehicles are extremely suspect, as they tend to warp and fail if an engine overheats. Thbey are SUPPOSED to fail "open"
however, they can easily fail partially open, presenting a flow restriction to a slowly turning water pump (idle), and provide insufficient cooling.
