Start with the gas cap, cheap and fast. Cap vent is clogged and does not vent properly. When it dies it has time to suck in a little air and it can then start. Drive a little while longer and the vacuum builds again and it dies. If this does not work buy a fuel pressure gauge and check pressure. If it is low replace the fuel pump, big expensive job.
best way is to cut it off and never put the junk back on again
you are changing speeds
Why does my 2000 dodge neon shut off when my gas gauge hits a half tank of gas then u recycle the key to start it again and it starts up
Stalling while driving may be caused by a collapsing or kinked neoprene fuel line.
Fix it before you drive again-can be multi causes but is very unsafe
You may have to turn it around hundreds of times to get the marks to all line up again.
there is humidity in your engine control module
You might want to check the Hall effect pick up on TBI models or the Signal Generator switch plate on MPI models. I had issues that sound the same as yours. It would drive me crazy and finally would start again. It is located in the Distributore cap. It is not hard to change. Good luck.
Look in the engine compartment and look for your horn. It will have one wire sticking out of it. Cut the wire with wire cutters and your horn will never sound again.
Possibly a common problem..... crank sensor
dip, duck, dodge, dive (and one of them is repeated again)
i believe so look at the 99 dodge Dakota with the v6 magnumNEW ANSWER: NO... The engine would never RUN RIGHT again. There would be ALL KINDS of things that you would HAVE to CHANGE to make a carburetor work.
