try some injector cleaner ...you ad it to your gas... I had an issue where I was driving along and my car lost power and the lights came on. I was told that the float in the gas tank is set in a weird spot and if you have between 1/4 - 1/2 a tank of gas it can cause the car to do this because of the floats location. So now I just try to keep over 1/2 a tank of gas in the car and I haven't had any problem like that sense it happened a couple of years ago. Hope this helps someone.

What causes a car to jerk while driving can be based on many factors. A car can sputter due to engine compression issues, bad transmission, engine misfire, bad spark plugs or even low fuel.
Because it's an Audi and they suck!
Try disconnection your MAF ( mass airflow sensor ) and if it doesn't sputter when you accelarate, it means your sensor is gonzo.
will the transmission causes my 1999 ford expedition to bog down & sputter when accelerating the 4.6liter engine.
Yes, that and dozens of other causes.Yes, that and dozens of other causes.
Most common cause would be the plus wires. Dampness causes them to arc and the cylinder that the wire is arcing on won't fire causing a miss/sputter.
coz you shud of gone to specsavers
it may have somthing in gas line or your fuel pump may be going out
Crank sensor has failed,Ignition control module (ICM) has failed,Bad ignition coil pack,
There could be several reasons why a car would sputter and shut off. The car might be out of gas, dead battery, bad starter, alternator problems or other issues. It is best to have it checked out by a licensed mechanic.
One cause why a Plymouth Voyager sputters is because the driver may be holding the gear shift button, unnecessary for going through drives 1 to 4. The gear shift button is a safety feature that keeps from reversing while driving.
