Does it sound like something is running in the rear? If so that is the air compressor located above drivers side rear tire. It is for the rear shocks.
Get a plumber to fix it
It is probably your cooling fans. These are electric and may run with the engine turned off. It is probably your cooling fans. These are electric and may run with the engine turned off.
Electrical circuit is broken. No electricity and the engine will not run.
If it consistently dies a few seconds after starting, that's usually the fuel pump turning off. When the key is turned on the fuel pump runs for a few seconds, giving you time to start the engine. The computer "senses" when the engine is running and normally engages another circuit that leaves the pump running. BUT! if either the sensor or the relay has failed, the fuel pump will be turned off once that initial timer expires after the keyswitch has turned on.
Check the sensors, mine did the same thing and it was the sensors
168 seconds.....
probably got a bad IAC motor
generally if an engine overheats, but then does not overheat when heater is turned on, is a good indication that the engine thermostat is stuck and needs replacing
Fresh air vent motor
It will for maybe 3 seconds , when the key is turned to the run position , before you start the Explorer
It's lean. Could be something plugged in the carb.
An electric field causes electrons to flow when a switch is turned on.
