I have been around horses for decades and have yet to see a horses tail "break" off. They can be cut, pulled and scraped off. This is from abuse by humans or other horses, but that is only partial amounts of the tail's hair.
Perhaps you could help us a little and explain what you mean by break off?
If you meant the tail hair itself then that can be caused from several things. The hair could be brittle due to missing nutrients, being dried out by the sun, or even from excessive shampooing of the tail hair. It would be best to consult with your equine veterinarian about what to do for this.
Sometimes frostbite, or by not cleaning it or taking care of it.
It's tail can break off and it will grow back.
If your referring to tail lights just turn off your headlights and they will turn off. If your referring to break lights take your foot of the break pedal.
a horses description is a disctiption of horse that usually includes colour, breed, sex, height, name, tail on/off, mane on/off, markings, and age
"Mane & Tail" is usually used for horses and believe it or not many people use it because it's keeps what hair you have healthier and therefore your hair would seem to grow faster because you wouldn't have split-ends that break-off.

No, but a betta can get fin rot, which can damage the fins and tail.
First off its tail shouldn't break and if it does it wont grow back!take it to the vet.
you fall off. Voila, broken bone!
the car will break or shut off automaticly
It's possible that a juvenile bovine could chew the horse's tail off. To prevent this you can keep the tail in a tail bag, available as most feed and tack stores.
The switch on the break pedal needs to be adjusted or replaced.
