In some of GM's engins they put under sized bearing, try using an Ac oil filter.
Probably fried one of your pistons. Don't even worry about the noise. Just get a reman engine. You need one.

If the trans fluid is full, you need to have a trans shop look at it.
I'd have the motor mounts checked. I'd also check to be sure that the trans-axel to engine bolts are all present and tight. FriPilot
