If your model has a Smart Junction Box (computer module) that controls the lights and turn signals then it is most likely a blown transistor lamp driver in the module.
Although standard procedure is to replace the whole module, the module is repairable.
Signal lights staying on withot flashing indicates either front or rear signal bulb not working on the Audi
I just got a Park Avenue with the same problem and you will not believe how it was resolved by putting a light bulb in the right rear turn signal. Hope it works for you also.
usually means you have a bad bulb in turn signal side that is not lit remove lense and replace turn bulb remember the side that is not lit.
Could be a problem in the steering column Could be a shorted bulb (both filaments touching) searching for ground
what causes the rear lights to stay on while engine is running. the car is park
check and make sure all the lights are on like if a turn signal is out in the front then the signal will stay on in the back when you turn the turn signal on.
I would check your grounds at the bulb wires. Usually, the bulb wires are grounded (or bulb bracket). Sounds like a grounding problem somewhere.
Get the green arrow to stay on. Now get out of the car and walk around it, looking for the turn signal bulb that stays on. That bulb has a bad ground. I fixed mine (very) temporarily with aluminum foil, then later by running a new ground wire. I just wrapped stripped wire around the base of the bulb and ran it to a ground.
Most of the time, a non-blinking turn signal simply means that one of your turn signal bulbs is not working. On many cars, the non-working bulb may not be obvious, i.e. it could be one of the small side marker lights rather than a front or rear turn signal bulb, so look carefully.
Hey Tina==It is a burned out bulb that is the problem. Find out if it is front or rear and take the light assy off and change the bulb from the rear. If you told me what kind of car you have and model, I may could have been more specific. GoodluckJoe If you have a W126 and your left marker lights stay on, try twisting your headlight switch clockwise one click, to the "off" position.
a bulb is out
Usually this would mean that one of your turn signal bulbs is burnt out either front, side, or rear, check them first, if not, you may either have a short in the switch, causing it to stay on. It could also be due to a bulb which was not getting a solid connection; check to make sure they haven't jiggled themselves loose, causing a faulty connection.
