A prolapsed vaginal wall or vault is the result of a variety of things.

Age

As women grow older the natural strength and elasticity of the internal vaginal connective tissue weakens. This can cause the interior of the vagina to drop or fall out through the opening.

Childbirth

In some cases a prolapsed vagina is the result of continual child birth. The loosening of the interior of the vagina from multiple pregnancies in a relatively short period of time can occur. When the interior of the vagina is not allowed adequate time to shrink and tighten before being stretched by another birthing.

Fisting/Sexy Toys/Large Penetration

On average the most common cause of a prolapsed vagina comes from extreme penetrations. When a woman is penetrated by large penises, sex toys or fists (or other objects) continually on a regular basis, the interior vaginal tissue becomes loose and has a higher risk of prolapsing out through the opening.
