Getting white spots in the eyes may only lead to a particular breed or breed set. It is not the same in ALL dogs, but I would say before 20 years old and after 10, possibly, but every dog is different.
My dog got white patches on his black nose a few years back and the vet couldn't figure it out... it happened to be my little furry baby was getting his toys stuck under the hot radiators when the heat was on and was burning his little nose. The white patches were burns and after a few radiator covers and some antibiotic ointment from the local drugstore the white patches slowly disappeared in a few weeks. Hope this helps?? We were told by the vet prior to finding out the real problem that some breeds of dogs tend to get loss of pigmentation on their faces as a birth defect which they have some kind of oinment for that may make it go away, but if not, the defect is not life threatening, or dibilitating in any way. Good luck with your little one. Cheers, J.
