The cooling system bleed valve, on your General Motors 5.7 liter engine, is located on the bottom of the radiator. The bleed valve should be in the middle of the radiator bottom.

The radiator drain plug on a 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck with a 5.9 liter diesel engine is on the bottom inside corner of the radiator. It is on the driver's side.
Standing in the front of the engine, It will be on the bottom right corner of the radiator. Towards the engine.
On the 4.0 liter OHV - V6 engine : The top radiator hose connects to the metal pipe which is part of the engine thermostat housing and the bottom radiator hose connects to the water pump

on my 1997 Mazda 626, it's located on the left hand side bottom of the engine where the bottom radiator hose goes to the engine. hope this helps you.
I know that the top radiator hose on my 4.0 liter OHV gets hot when the engine thermostat opens allowing the engine coolant to flow through the radiator and the bottom return hose connects the radiator to the water pump should be cooler - sounds normal to me but I'm not a mechanic / technician
radiator hose needs replacing. use and heat will cause hose to collapse when worn out
If you have the 4.0 liter SOHC , V6 engine just follow the bottom radiator hose , it connects to the water pump
Look at the bottom or rear of radiator
It is located on the bottom of the engine near the right front wheel. You will see the radiator hose connected to it. It is VERY difficult to change and I do not recommend you do it yourself.
