The rotors (discs) of the front brakes are warped. It might work to unbolt the wheels and torque down the wheels again. If the wheels were not tightened in sequence with a torque wrench they could have been warped. If this doesn't help take the discs to a machine shop and have them turned.
There is a piece behind the brake pedal that brakes, it is round and blue, but I do not know what the piece is called.
air coming out of the brake lines... that is if its a truck. if you aply the parking brake.

the brake light switch at the pedel is bad and stop it from coming out off gear see you have brake light if you don,t that's your promblem
Bleed the brake system.
The brake fluid in a 1992 Ford Escort gets put in the brake fluid reservoir. This is normally located on the master cylinder.
DOT 3 brake fluid
The Ford escort uses 12 inch brake rotors. The brake rotors are used on all four wheels and our the same size on each wheel.
The rear brake pads on your 1993 Ford Escort can be changed by removing the brake pad Springs and break caliper. The brake pads will come off. Reverse the process to install the new brake pads.
It is a switch on the brake pedal which sends current to the stoplights in the rear.
Sounds like warped brake rotors .
As long as it is DOT3 brake fluid you are fine.
