The oil return openings in the ends of the heads may be plugged up with sludge and the oil drains down thru the valve guides as it sits overnight. Remove the valve covers and you may see the problem. Clean out the returns.

Could be the piston rings are worn out and as the engine sits, say overnight, oil seeps into the cylinders and on ignition this small amount of engine oil is burned off.

A bad fuel injector will cause a quad 4 2.3L engine to be dead on 1 and 4 cylinders. It is best to have a mechanic take a look at the quad for further information.
