Think of your liver as the organ that makes bad things turn good. Have you ever seen the Cartoons where the XXX is written on the side of bottles of alcohol, suggesting it is poison?

Well it is, your liver helps turn poisons into substances that will not harm your body.

Anything can technically harm your liver, but main things consist of

  • Alcohol
  • Drugs
  • Chemicals (can be found in foods)
