you ether have Exema or you don't . if you have exema itching will only makes it worse . your skin has to go through a process of heeling , so when you itch it , the heeling process has to start all over again . this happens because patches of exama are very dry so when you itch it causes your skin to tear and bleed . its a bit like when you have as skint knee if you pick at it , it will take longer to heel.
