If it runs fairly normal once it starts and you're getting fuel into the crankcase, it's PROBABLY a leaking injector.
After the engine is shut off there is still pressure in the fuel line. If the injector leaks, fuel will drip down into the intake manifold. If a cylinder has an open intake valve, the fuel will leak into there and find it's way into the crankcase.

That depends on what your engine is. It'll be different for gas and diesel engines.
No you can not use gas engine oil in diesel engine oil because processing of diesel engine is different from gas engine oil. If you use this then it damage your vehicles.
A gas only engine has a spout where oil is added to the engine. If there is no spout, then it is a gas/oil engine. FYI - gas only engine is a four-stroke (four-cycle) engine and the gas/oil engine is two-stroke (two-cycle).
Need MORE information. Engine YEAR would be a lot of help. You will need to ask your question again PLEASE. Thank you. Mr Van said: One time , not in band camp, the seal in my fuel pump failed and gasoline went in the oil. It was when the fuel pump was mounted on the engine.
bad rings or really bad valve seals.
If my engine is hot, I would not even notice that as it evaporates very quickly...in hot oil.
Your engine has worn piston rings. Get it fixed asap because the oil is no good and will seize the motor. it can also come from flooding carb especially on new engine
