PVC stuck open.Bad rings calapsed,Busted piston skirt.
The engine is getting worn and blow by is getting into the crankcase and forcing oil from the valve cover into the air breather.
According to holley they say you can't blow the power valve now so if your car is running rich maybe the carb is too big for the engine or you need to change the jets in the front venturi's to the next smaller size.
Usually on valve cover with vac hose to carb.
It's on the valve cover, look for a hose that goes to the carb and the pcv valve just pushes into the valve cover through a rubber grommet. If this is a Pontiac powered Trans Am the PCV valve will be in the valley pan, just under the intake. Should be in front of the carb.
in the valve cover left side and hooked to carb
Needle valve in the carb. bowl not closing.
Bad float valve in carb
Follow the 1/2" to 5/8" black round hose (usually pre-formed to shape) from carb. Will go to PCV valve in the valve cover on engine heads or will be in the intake manifold(which the carb sits on)
All but a very few rare SD Pontiacs are equipped with the PCV valve located in the valley pan. It would be just ahead of the carb in your car.
Hey Chris==It is in the right valve cover. There should be a hose from it to the intake or carb. GoodluckJoe
Stuck or bad PCV valve on the Valve Cover to the carb or throttle body. The other is the EGR valve. Most likely the PCV.
It means to "go down" on the carb. Just put you lips on the carb "and blow"!
