You might have transmission problems....especially if your trans was slipping before this. or you might have power problems with your engine.....check and see if all your spark plugs are firing.
It is most likely your oxygen sensor
Have your electrical wiring checked out, it is shorting out that causes the radio to shut off and the engine to stall. Start from the radio wiring.....Hope this will help..
You have a misfire - engine related, not tranny...get the engine checked/tuned up...etc... dave
most 2000 model year focus have a fuel delivery module recall.
Is it low on Anti-Freeze? That is a known issue for a car to stall!
This is a electronic fuel enjected engine and therefore the electonics set the engine idle speed a bit higher during a cold start so the engine will not stall out.
Have the code read, that will tell you.
Change the plugs and plug-wires. DON'T gap the plugs!! Outta the box and into the engine, ONLY!!
Do you have a check engine light on? I would consider the idle air control motor to be a likely culprit. You also might listen for the whistling sound of a vacuum system leak.
check for clogged fuel filter, or faulty fuel pump
