what causes engine to missfire when warmed up on my 2002 accent
The year and engine size would help us help you.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but if the engine is warmed up it sounds like you are getting engine coolant into an engine cylinder ( head gasket , warped head from overheating the engine etcetera , there are probably other reasons , anybody else ? )
The suns energy
It is normal in cold weather, it's just the knock sensors. If however, it still ticks after engine is warmed up, e.g after driving for 20-25 minutes, get someone to look at it.
when the engine cools moisture in the oil condensates in the oil dipstick tube. Some times changing the PVC valve will solve this. Unless it is severe then dont worry about it
Probaby a sensor.
Coolant entering the combustion chamber. You have a blown head gasket, cracked head, or both. STOP driving this vehicle until you have it repaired or you will destroy the engine.
I'm not a mechanic / technician , but if white smoke is coming out of the exhaust on your gasoline engine when the engine is warmed up : ( it sounds like engine coolant is getting into one or more of the engine cylinders ) * bad head gasket , warped head from overheating , anybody else ?
Pistons lacking in skirts. If it continues after the engine is warmed up then you have something more severe going on.
NO, it will not damage the vehicle engine by turning the heater ON before the engine has warmed up fully.
the cylinders are tight and is pulling more fuel then normal on a efi motor, older cars, trucks with chokes pull more fuel till it is warmed up
