It's definetly not fuel related the reason for slow start has a lot to do with current either the alternator is not charging up ur battery good or u battery is bad or something is using up power when the ignition is off but my best bet will be a bad battery
Probable causes: loose cable or wire; faulty starter relay or solenoid.
how can i solve the problem
If a 1997 Nissan Maxima will crank but will not start, there could be a problem with the fuel pump. Another possibility is an issue with the ignition switch.
I'm no expert, but it could be a battery or alternator related problem.
Have you checked your battery. My battery died on me all of a sudden and I could not start my car.
MY 03 ALTIMA HAD THE SAME PROBLEM I HAD TO REPLACE THE CAM SENSORS AND THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVE
Hey stupid the 2007 maxima doesnt have a push button start the 2009 does and u have to have the key in the key port
The starter or battery could be weak. The weakness will cause the starter to turn too slowly to start the truck.
Its the ignition switch change it and that will stop the problem
If your '99 Maxima will not start even after you have changed the starter, you might have a dead battery or a bad starter solenoid. You could also have an empty gas tank.
change your belt
