To disable the anti-theft in a 2000 Nissan Maxima, put the key into the ignition, but only turn it halfway. Leave it in this position for several minutes and start the car.
If a 1997 Nissan Maxima will crank but will not start, there could be a problem with the fuel pump. Another possibility is an issue with the ignition switch.
I forgot to tell you after you connect the battery with the key in start position try to start the car after you reconnect the battery
keyless systems don't require you to put the key in the ignition, you can leave it in your pocket and hit the start button
Check for spark. Your system might have an ignition cut off.
Turn the key to the off position take the key out of the ignition and press the alarm unlock button, then place the key back in the ignition and start the car yes it's that easy
Make sure you have the right key because the door key will turn the ignition but won't start the car.
Its the ignition switch change it and that will stop the problem
Then the vehicle won't start and if it does start it won't run right
It may not be connected right.
The vision could have several problems causing it not to start. Check for ignition fire and fuel pressure first to help determine the problem.
Hey stupid the 2007 maxima doesnt have a push button start the 2009 does and u have to have the key in the key port
