The abdominal cavity contains the stomach, intestines, spleen, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas.

Most of the small intestine is located in the abdominal cavity. A small amount (approximately the first 10 inches or so) is located behind the abdominal cavity, in what is called the retroperitoneal space. Roughly speaking, the small intestine is framed or bordered by the large intestine. The small intestine is part of the digestive tract and located in the stomach.
The small intestine is located in the abdominal cavity which is below the diaphragm and on the ventral part of the body.
In your abdominal cavity
goes down your esophagus and into your gut or stomach where it is broken down by enzymes and stomach acids, then proceeds to your small intestines and then to your large intestines and then is pushed out of your anal cavity
