Moses had to pretend he was an actual Egyptian when he was really a Jew. his adopting parents (father and mother of Ramses II) knew he was not Egyptian but they took him in as family when he drifted away in a basket( as a baby) down the Nile river. you see it was during that time period where Ramses II father ordered for all military to go kill all Jew babies (drown them) so his mother had to sacrifice her life for his. he also ran away to find who he really is inside, to find his brother sister, mother... u can also watch the movie "the prince of Egypt " to see more it is animated but all true. hope i helped

Moses faced numerous challenges throughout his life. As a baby, he escaped being killed by Pharaoh's orders. Later, he struggled with his own identity, being raised as an Egyptian prince but knowing he was a Hebrew. When he led the Israelites out of Egypt, he had to overcome skepticism and resistance from both Pharaoh and his own people. Finally, during their forty years in the wilderness, Moses had to deal with the constant complaining and rebellion of the Israelites.
