Ozone (O3) is a highly reactive compound comprised of 3 oxygen atoms, it reacts readily with most hydrocarbons such as Methane or organic componds containg Flourine, Carbon, Hydrogen and Chlorine (otherwise known as CFC's) as well as Carbon Dioxide. The reaction of Ozone causes it to dissapate, and is only ussualy formed when oxygen gas is rapidly heated (such as lightning in the sky) and has a sort of rusty odour. Ozone is a poisonous gas to inhale.
