The tithe money does not belong to the pastor. It belongs to the church and they have a budget determining how the tithes will be used to carry out the ministry of the church and meet their legal obligations. The pastor is paid a salary. Some pastors don't receive a salary if they already have another income. Rabbi's receive a salary too.
In the Methodist Church hierarchy, Bishops. At the local church level, the pastor is as high as you go. There may be deacons or lay leaders, but this is not the typical form of leadership as compared to deacons in the Baptist church or elders in the Church of Christ.
My advice would go and try to talk to the pastor about the problem.
he/she is called an imam
My answer would be this: A preacher is one called by God to go out and preach God's Word to people. A pastor is a preacher who has been called to be a preacher to a church. A pastor has one church that he preaches at and calls his "home" church. A preacher might receive the call to preach, but doesn't stay at one church all the time. He might be a member of a church, but he doesn't necesarrily pastor there. Think of the idea of circuit preachers, moving from town to town.
Pastor Eugene Ridley, preaches directly from the bible... no sugar coating. If you wan`t to know the truth, this is the place to go.
To join the Fellowship Church, there is one simple step: go to a church location and stay for worship. It is that easy and simple. One should attend services, and then perhaps speak to the pastor about joining permanently.
